HANA MENDEL

Hana Mendel (b. 1996) is a Jewish-American artist based in New York City. She earned a BFA from the Columbus College of Art & Design in 2018, initially focusing on illustration before developing a passion for photography. Since then, she has worked across digital and traditional media as a photographer, illustrator, and designer. Her work has been featured in prominent publications, including The New Yorker, New York Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and GQ.

In 2022, Mendel attended the Columbia Publishing Course, where she specialized in art direction and digital publishing. In 2024, she pursued Jewish studies at Neve Yerushalayim Seminary in Har Nof, Jerusalem. Currently, she continues her creative practice from New York City.
